Beauty Shortlist Award winners announced

Can you believe it?! News is just in that Barker & Sloane has won an award in the global Beauty Shortlist Awards 2020! To say that we are over the moon is an understatement. So without further ado (cue the drum roll….), let me tell you that; out of 39 countries, over 6,000 products and hundreds of brands including some big names like Neals Yard, Weleda, Tropic Skincare etc, our very own Overnight Recovery Repairing Night Cream has won an Editor’s Choice Award.

We love the fact that each product is tried, tested, used, abused and thoroughly put through its paces. We know our products actually work and this is the industry standard that says we’re top notch. Read more about why we love these beauty industry awards below.

About last season – Guest Blog by Emma Brown

All about last season and my field trials of Barker & Sloane skincare…. So last season for me kicked off with an amazing Ladies Day shooting in Wiltshire organised by Kington Events with some of my favourite humans all wearing Emma Brown Tweed and for me entering the field and seeing my clothes in action was a very proud moment indeed.

Barker & Sloane – The new name for skincare for rural life

Formerly Purdey & Sloane….

You may or may not have heard the news from our social media profiles but despite us holding the UK Trademark for Purdey & Sloane for cosmetics, we have been embroiled in a legal issue with James Purdey & Sons (Gunmakers), who were claiming that our trademark was invalid and were trying to enforce us to cease and desist immediately.
